Welcome to the RGFPSL Umpires Page

Whether you are brand new to sports officiating or have several seasons under your belt, USA Softball umpires work every year to certify themselves and improve their skill sets as officials.

The RGFPSL Umpire Program continues to provide opportunities for officials of all experience levels with strong support, training, mentorship, and a fun, safe environment to work and grow.

Since 2018, the RGFPSL Umpire Group has been one of the largest youth umpire programs in the Greater Sacramento area — helping develop officials ranging in age from 11 to 70+.

If you love the game and want to be part of the “3rd Team” on the field, we would love to have you join us.

Please bring your mobile phone, tablet, or laptop for the registration portion of the meeting.

2026 Spring Umpire Field Clinic

Sunday, February 1, 2026 (Updated)
Lund Park — Fields 1, 2 & 3

  • Sign-In: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Instruction: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Lunch Provided

This clinic is required for all officials wishing to work RGFPSL games and will satisfy NorCal field clinic requirements for 2026.

All umpires are required to attend a field clinic for the 2026 season.
